WOW - I cannot believe that we just finished 3rd quarter.  Our school year is 3/4 of the way through.  Where has all the time gone?  I am proud of the progress the students have made this year and am excited to share your child's progress with you after spring break.  If you have not yet signed up for a conference, please send me an email letting me know what date and time works for you and I can check my calendar in order to best accommodate both our schedules.  Click here for current schedule.

When we return from spring break we will begin the last 9 weeks of the school year.  Please remind your child that we still have things to learn in order to master the kindergarten objectives.  We can have fun as long as we are still working hard on curriculum.

Continue to read to and with your child over spring break

Enjoy your spring break!!!

If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at

Don't forget that we go out to recess unless it is raining.  Please be sure to send your child to school in clothing, including outerwear, appropriate for the weather.

We only have specials on Wednesdays for the 2nd semester.  Our class is currently going to dance on Wednesday mornings.

Please change out your child's change of clothing in their backpack as the weather changes.

Don't forget to read 20 minutes daily to your child.  The more words that a child is exposed to, the better reader they will become.  See reading link for ideas to help your child increase their reading abilities.
